MEET THE PARTY CO-CHAIRMAN
Video meeting with the Rt Hon Lord Johnson of Lainston CBE
Conservative Party Co-Chairman
Conservatives Abroad is the British Conservative Party's global network of members and supporters living overseas.
Here at Cities of London & Westminster, we are delighted to support the work of Conservatives Abroad. Members of Conservatives Abroad are also members of the Cities of London & Westminster Conservative Association, and of the Conservative Party.
1300 GMT TUESDAY 3 DECEMBER 2024
Current members of the Cities of London & Westminster Conservative Association with an interest in international affairs are invited to join a video call with the new Party Co-Chairman, the Rt. Hon. Lord Johnson of Lainston CBE, on Tuesday, 3 December at 1300 GMT, hosted by Conservatives Abroad.
This will be one of the first opportunities for the Party's international membership to hear from, and to question one of the new shadow cabinet team and hear of the plans for reflection and renewal of the Party to ensure a return to power at the earliest opportunity.
The meeting will be hosted on Microsoft Teams. Please click below to register. Having registered, you will receive an automated email containing a link to join just ahead of the Teams call.
Dominic, Lord Johnson, was appointed Party Co-Chairman alongside Nigel Huddleston MP by Kemi Badenoch following her election as Party Leader. Both he and Nigel served together as Junior Ministers under Kemi at the Department for Business and Trade.
Dominic is an old friend of Conservatives Abroad having lived in Hong Kong while working for Jardine Fleming and Lloyd George Asset Management before returning to London to co-found Somerset Capital Management.
A former RBKC councillor and parliamentary candidate, Dominic was appointed Minister of State for Investment in October 2022, a role in which he traveled the globe supporting British exporters and interacting with many Conservatives Abroad members.
We look forward to you joining the call on Tuesday, 3 December at 1300 GMT.
