We are delighted to welcome back Dr David Charnick PhD, a qualified City of London Guide and a member of the City of London Guide Lecturers Association, for another virtual tour.
Behind the surface of our day-to-day life is a secret world. This world of spies and assassins harbours dangerous secrets. On this tour we visit places associated with some of the most important dangerous secrets in recent history.
Spy rings have risen and fallen. Assassination and subversion are part of the secret world. Spy mania can lead to false accusations and blind alleys.
Join us to explore the secret activity that links the Old Vic Theatre to Charing Cross Station, and the Savoy Hotel to the HSBC in Covent Garden.
This is a virtual tour hosted live via Zoom video conferencing, where David will show slides and give a talk to accompany them. There will be the opportunity for questions both during and after the talk.
Tickets are £12 per person - this includes the cost of the event and a donation to CLWCA.
