Cllr Philippa Roe and Cllr Tony Devenish have campaigned to both encourage the Council to mitigate any changes in weekend sweeping, reinstating some cut services. They have also used ward budget monies to install dog poo bins and leaflet parts of the ward where some residents may not be following good practice in disposing of such waste.
Cllr Philippa Roe and Cllr Tony Devenish were first elected as two of your three Ward Members in 2006 and take Westminster's mantra 'clean, safe streets and a low council tax' to heart. Clean streets is at the foundation of our approach, since 2010 we have worked with residents' associations, our Westminster Council warden and individual local residents' and our ward colleague Rachael Robathan to ensure clean streets remain paramount despite the need to make efficiency savings driven by the national Government.
