Pimlico is set to benefit from around £150,000 of investment voted for by your Conservative Councillors to improve roads, pavements and street lights.
Among the works planned for 2013 are resurfacing part of Gloucester Street, repaving part of Cambridge Street, and upgrading street lighting in Buckingham Palace Road and Sussex Street.
Local Warwick Ward Councillor Ed Argar said: “As local residents like you, we know how important to the ‘Pimlico village’ it is to keep our streets and pavements well lit and in good, safe condition, as well as keeping them clean. Despite financially tough times Westminster has continued to invest in repairs and improvements and we are delighted that Pimlico has secured this important investment.”
