Ahead of Small Business Saturday, Cities of London & Westminster MP, Nickie Aiken, joined Regent's Park ward Councillor, Paul Swaddle, to hear more about the fantastic local businesses along St John's Wood High Street.
Nickie commented,
"I'm with Councillor Paul Swaddle of Regent's Park Ward in St John's Wood High Street. Tomorrow is Small Business Saturday where we celebrate all the amazing small businesses across the nation. Paul, why is it so important to have days like Small Business Saturday?"
Regent's Park Ward Councillor, Paul Swaddle, replied,
"Well, here in St John's Wood we've got a range of small businesses and only by people supporting them will they be able to thrive and keep our high street alive. We have had a fantastic regeneration here. The road is looking amazing. New retailers are moving in. But if our residents don't support those businesses, then they will unfortunately fail.
Nickie added,
"So tomorrow, Small Business Saturday. Please do support all your amazing small businesses, shops, delis, hairdressers, all the brilliant shops. Please do support them."
