Your councillors are working with Transport for London, the Edgware Road Partnership, residents and businesses to improve the environment of Edgware Road. Lighting is being renewed, the carriageway is going to be resurfaced over the next 12-18 months and pavements, bus stops and crossings assessed as to what is needed. In addition, the ward budget has contributed to a six month pilot project of night time wardens in and around Edgware Road. They have been helping to ensure no rubbish dumping, that businesses stick to permitted hours of operation, and that the streets are safe.
