Conservative-run Westminster has taken the decision to bring CityWest Homes (our housing provider) back in-house. We all know the service provided by CWH over the past couple of years had fallen short of the high standard we expect. This decision means the Council will have greater control to improve how we manage the Council’s housing stock. 

Your local Conservative councillors have also successfully lobbied for the Planned Preventative works to fix the ongoing battle with leaks, to be brought forward. We will keep you updated as to when it is to start, but this is a huge step in the right direction when it comes to tackling the on-going battle with leaks! We will also ensure that Lillington and Longmoore Gardens will get their own specialised maintenance team which will be the key point of contact for any issues on the estate. 

Jim, Angela and James took the Head of Repairs for CWH for a walk around the estate to point out areas we need for immediate improvement. This includes the permanent standing water outside Charlwood House.
