Visiting Rochester Row Almshouses

Two Cities MP Nickie Aiken had the great pleasure of visiting the Westminster Almshouses at Rochester Row with local councillor and trustee Selina Short. The almshouses provide sheltered accommodation for those over sixty, and they support their residents with an array of services, including a weekly exercise class and an assisted shopper bus service to a local supermarket.

Nickie was shown around the historic premises by Colin Usher and joined residents at their weekly coffee morning. 

They touched base on a range of local and national matters, and Nickie hopes to pick up their conversations again soon.
