Meeting the Deputy Mayor to discuss Tube Noise in Pimlico

Tony Devenish, Assembly Member for West Central, met with London’s Deputy Mayor, Heidi Alexander to discuss excessive Tube noise. Tony raised the rising concern among many local people in Pimlico that the Tube is generating disruptive and excessive levels of noise.

Commenting on the meeting Tony said, “I urged the Deputy Mayor to work with myself and my Conservative GLA colleagues to find a solution as quickly as possible. Pimlico locals deserve to live in peace, the Mayor must work with me and others to make this a reality.”

Tube noise levels have caused serious disruption to local peoples’ lives. People living in Pimlico have been subjected to sleepless nights. Some have even been forced to avoid sleeping in their basement bedrooms due to noise levels. TfL must take action to minimise Tube noise.
