Nickie says thank you to the incredible carers across the Two Cities

During National Carers Week, Nickie Aiken MP says thank you to the incredible carers across the Two Cities.

Paying tribute, Nickie said,

"It's National Carers Week and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank both the paid and unpaid carers across the country. The professionals who work in our homes, in our care homes and in our nursing homes who go that extra mile to look after the people they're responsible for. And for the unpaid carers, the family members and friends who are looking after their loved ones, whether it's children and young adults or older parents with Alzheimer's and dementia. I know from personal experience how hard it is to look after a loved one who has got issues like dementia. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you do, whether you are professional or whether you are family or a friend."
