Nickie Aiken, Member of Parliament for the Cities of London & Westminster, had a walkabout with the Chair of the Churchill Gardens Residents’ Association, Christina Walsh, and local residents Angela and Richard to hear about the issues that matter most to local people.
They discussed crime and anti-social behaviour, the council’s plans for the Pimlico District Heating Unit which is causing huge concern for so many residents, and funding opportunities for Churchill Hall. Nickie will be taking all the issues up and will speak with Westminster City Council to ensure they are listening to our concerns.
The Churchill Gardens Residents’ Association hosts a weekly cooked lunch every Friday. Nickie was pleased to meet with the chef, John, who was cooking a delicious roast dinner. If you live in Churchill Gardens, get in touch with your RA to find out more details.
Nickie is always keen to meet with local people and hear about the issues that matter most. If you are a Chair or a representative of your Residents' Association, please let Nickie know as she would be delighted to meet with your group.
