MP for the Cities of London & Westminster, Nickie Aiken, paid tribute to the outstanding volunteers following her visit to the Westminster base of the RNLI.
The RNLI plays a lifesaving role on our rivers and seas. They provide a 24 hour lifeboat search and rescue service and are working harder than ever to end preventable drowning. So far this year, the Westminster base alone has saved three lives.
The RNLI are always looking for more volunteers, so if you are interested, please find out more on their website. Their lifesaving work would not be possible without the generosity of donations. If you are able to, please do think about donating to the RNLI so that they can continue keeping us safe on the River Thames.
