Conservative GLA Assembly Member Shaun Bailey took the opportunity today during the Mayor’s Question Time to hold the Mayor to account.

Shaun highlighted the Mayor’s unprofessional conduct during the assembly session. Instead of answering questions, the Mayor had been laughing and calling names.  Shaun took the Mayor to task for his behaviour stating that while “we are all trying to conduct our business working for Londoners, you take every opportunity to act like a child.”

Commenting on the question time Tony Devenish Assembly Member for West Central said, “I commend Shaun for standing up for local people. Shaun rightly pointed out the Mayor’s shambolic behaviour. We need a Mayor that cares about local people and is receptive to their concerns, not one who laughs in the face of locals.”
