Speaking out to enhance flood insurance eligibility

Following flash flooding in Westminster over recent years, Two Cities MP, Nickie Aiken, has been speaking with local people and industry representatives to understand the challenges homeowners in Westminster face in accessing flood insurance.

Continuing Nickie's campaign to enhance eligibility, last week, she met with the British Insurance Brokers' Association (BIBA). Nickie was reassured that they are actively looking at what steps may be taken to increase eligibility, and have launched its Find Insurance Service to help people in need of flood insurance cover now.

Nickie will continue to engage industry and Government to make the case for enhanced flood insurance eligibility.
