Conservative Assembly Member and 2021 Mayoral Candidate Shaun Bailey has launched an initiative to provide free burglar alarms to those living in London who are older than 65 and others who are especially vulnerable to burglaries.
Commenting on Shaun’s announcement today, Tony Devenish Assembly Member for West Central said, “I fully support Shaun’s commitment to provide free burglar alarms to those aged 65 and above. Shaun is absolutely right to put the safety of locals first and I endorse his proposal.”
We need to have a Mayor who prioritises the fight against crime. It is clear that Shaun Bailey has listened to concerns of those living in our city. If elected, he will take decisive action against crime and ensure that we can live in safety.
Supporting the most vulnerable in our city is crucial. Tony added, “Shaun is standing up for those who need our support most. We must urge the Mayor to get serious about tackling crime. He is responsible for keeping our city safe and he has to be held to account.”
