Today, Tony Devenish, Assembly Member for West Central, expressed his gratitude to all of our NHS and public sector staff. Recognising their invaluable contribution to public health over the past year, he thanked them for their unwavering devotion to duty and hard work.
Throughout the pandemic, our NHS has helped to save lives and protect those most vulnerable in our society.
Our public sector as a whole has stood firm and resolute in the face of an unprecedented global pandemic. We all owe a debt of gratitude to our key workers.
Tony took the chance to speak with Tim Mitchell, the Deputy Leader of Westminster City Council on the work the Council is doing during the pandemic.
Tim and Tony both took the opportunity to thank the NHS and all our public servants who are working so hard to get life back to normal. Commenting on the efforts of the public sector during the pandemic.
Tony said,
Every single NHS staff member has made a difference and helped to keep us all safe.
They have put themselves in danger so that we can live in safety.
A very big thank you to you all for what you have done and are continuing to do as we exit the lockdown.
