Nickie Aiken, Member of Parliament for the Cities of London and Westminster, welcomed the opportunity to join the Domestic Abuse Commissioner, Nicole Jacobs, to hear how she is continuing her work to support survivors of domestic abuse.
We must ensure survivors are given a voice. Nickie was extremely proud to sit on the Domestic Abuse Bill Committee last year and secure the vital amendment to recognise children living in abusive households as victims too, even if not abused themselves.
As we continue to build on the support and resources available, Nickie will carry on making the case and highlighting the voices of survivors. No one should ever feel alone.
