Urging the Mayor to Adopt Shovel-Ready Projects

West Central Assembly Member Tony Devenish took the opportunity at last week’s Mayor’s Question Time to urge the Mayor focus on job creation and job protection in the wake of the pandemic. Tony inquired whether the Mayor would respond to a letter from the Secretary for Housing, Communities and Local Government on shovel-ready projects. Tony highlighted the fact that the Mayor should be backing shovel-ready projects as a way to kick start London’s economic recovery.
