Working with the Victoria Business Improvement District

Councillors Aiken and Wilkinson have had the first of regular meetings with the Victoria Business Improvement District (BID). This is a business-led and funded body set up in 2010 to support economic growth in Victoria.

The area of the BID includes Victoria Station and the northern end of Warwick Ward. Councillor Aiken says: "We have seen immense changes in Victoria in recent years with improvements to the rail station and new developments and shops. We are keen that Warwick Ward and our residents should  benefit from initiatives being promoted by the BID."
