3D Zebra Crossing in Marylebone

After many complaints from local people and St Vincent School about the difficulty in crossing Manchester and Blandford Streets, we asked the Council to install a 3D crossing on the junction. 

This is the third 3D crossing in Westminster, which the Council is piloting.  

The 3D crossing encourages drivers to slow down, as the illusion created when driving is of a raised crossing with black and white blocks, when in fact they are just lines painted on the road! Another example of what your local Councillors are doing to make a difference for people walking round our part of the City.
