TfL’s Avoidable Bailout

The size of Transport for London’s (TfL) bailout is a direct consequence of the Mayor’s mismanagement of its finances. Sadiq Khan should have acted sooner to control its debt and prevent this budgetary crisis. The bailout is a result of the Mayor’s imprudent spending decisions and his failure to properly fund essential public services. 

GLA Assembly Member and 2021 Mayoral Candidate Shaun Bailey published an article earlier today explaining why bad management made the bailout of TfL necessary, and you can read it here.
