The Conservatives parliamentary candidates have been victorious in the Cities of London and Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea and Fulham.

Commenting on the general election Assembly Member for West Central Tony Devenish said, “A huge congratulations to Greg Hands on being re-elected in Chelsea and Fulham. Congratulations to Felicity Buchan and Nickie Aiken on being elected to represent Kensington and the Cities of London and Westminster respectively. It is great to see Kensington turn Conservative. They have all fought outstanding campaigns and I applaud their election success.

“All three candidates have fought the General Election with dedication and integrity. Their hard work campaigning across West Central for local issues has been rewarded and local people have once again put their trust in Conservatives.”

Tony added, “My commiserations to Jamie Macfarlane and Xingang Wang, who both fought excellent campaigns. I am certain that they too will become MPs before long. I am proud that we have won three out of five of the constituencies in West Central. I look forward to working with our Conservative MPs. Together we can make our city a better place.”
