Conservative Party Members and Patrons worldwide are invited to join a Microsoft Teams call arranged by Conservatives Abroad with Guest of Honour, Colonel James Sunderland MP on Thursday 18th May at 14:00 GMT.

This is a unique opportunity for members to engage on all current political topics with a highly experienced former Amry Officer, with a deep knowledge and experience of his field.

This event is only open to members and patrons of Conservatives Abroad, the Conservative Party or its constituent Associations.

About James

James Sunderland MP has been the Member of Parliament for the Berkshire seat of Bracknell since the 2019 General Election. Prior to entering Parliament, he spent 26 years in the British Army rising to the rank of Colonel. His military operational service included tours in Iraq, Bosnia, Africa and the Falklands and he commanded 27 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps.

In Parliament James Sunderland, has used his military and overseas background to champion a number of related topics chairing the APPGs on the Armed Forces Covenant, on Motorsport and on Military Veterans. He is also Vice Chairman of a number of APPG's close to our members interests including the British Overseas Territories, the Falkland Islands, Malaria, the South Atlantic, South Western Railway, Taiwan and the Turks and Caicos Islands.

He has also began to get a foot on the rung of the Government ladder serving as a Parliamentary Private Secretary to successively the Defence, DEFRA and Health Secretaries.
