Join us for a special stand-alone talk on the UK's environmental and sustainability prospects, from one of the government's leading ministers in the field.
The Vincent Square Ward Conservatives are delighted to welcome the esteemed environmental minister, Rebecca Pow MP, to join us as Guest of Honour for a special drinks reception in Central (West) London.
Rebecca was appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in October 2022, having also previously worked at the department between September 2019 and July 2022. As the Minister for Environmental Quality and Resilience, her responsibilities include floods, water, resources, waste, air quality/ noise and environmental regulation (including chemicals). She also serves as the government lead for the Environment Agency. As such, Rebecca has an excellent, and quite unique knowledge of agricultural and environmental matters. In the run-up to the harvest festival period, this fascinating talk will prove particularly pertinent to those individuals interested in all things arable!
