Nickie Aiken, Member of Parliament for the Cities of London & Westminster, has been contacted by a number of local people living in Dolphin Square about their concerns and complaints about its management, delayed repairs, and rent increases.
Since the public meeting Nickie held in April, attended by over 100 people living in the square, she has raised local people’s concerns with the AXA board.
Last week, Nickie also met with the Dolphin Square management on the square to discuss the plethora of issues local people have told her about.
It was a robust discussion and the management team accepted that there have been problems in all the areas Nickie raised. They informed Nickie that a new out-of-hours maintenance service is now up and running; a new drop-in on a Wednesday morning has been established for residents to raise concerns and she suggested an early evening time slot also be considered.
Nickie will continue to raise your concerns with the management and will work with local people to ensure Dolphin Square and the Two Cities remains a safe and pleasant place to live.
