Conflict: how has modern warfare evolved since 1945?
Join us at our inaugural Writers' Club lunch with the legendary historian Andrew Roberts.
We are delighted to welcome the Rt Hon Lord Roberts of Belgravia FRSL FRHistS to the first of our writers' club lunches, as he launches his new book Conflict: The Evolution of Warfare from 1945 to Ukraine. Lord Roberts will speak about the fascinating research he has conducted on the history of modern warfare since the end of the Second World War. He will give a lecture and book review followed by a fireside-chat interview conducted by Two Cities CPF Officer, Ayesha Khan.
This exciting literary review and interview will be followed by an excellent buffet lunch with wine and soft drinks. Guests will have the opportunity to chat informally with the popular historian and socialise with other attendees.
Guests at the event will be able to purchase signed copies of Lord Roberts' book 'Conflict...' to support the Association's fundraising activities.
This event will be held at one of Central London's most prestigious private members clubs.
