When Nickie Aiken was elected, she promised to ensure the local issues that concern you the most were heard in Parliament.
This is why Nickie meets as many resident associations as possible. She was pleased to meet with Chris Samsa, the Chairman of Oxford & Cambridge and Hyde Park Mansions Residents' Association, and the committee to discuss the effects of short-term letting and leasehold reform.
Nickie highlighted the work she is doing on both leasehold and renters reform.
Nickie has met Michael Gove several times to discuss why reforms are desperately needed to support residents across the Two Cities. Nickie is delighted he has confirmed a Leasehold Reform Bill will be in the forthcoming King’s Speech.
If you are a leaseholder or part of a residents’ association and have any concerns you want to raise with Nickie, please get in touch.
