Have your say here.
Nickie Aiken, Member of Parliament for the Cities of London & Westminster, was pleased to bring Freddie Downing, the Conservative candidate for City & East at the London Assembly elections to the Golden Lane Estate to explain how she has been working with local people to ensure our neighbourhoods remain safe, pleasant places to live, including an agreement from the City of London Corporation to improve lighting and CCTV on the Golden Lane Estate.
Speaking with Freddie, Nickie said,
"I'm here in the heart of the City with Freddie Downing, the Conservative candidate for the City & East seat in the GLA Assembly Elections next May. I've brought him here because I have a crime and anti-social behaviour survey that I've been asking people across the City to fill in.
"I first came to the Golden Lane Estate a couple of years ago when people were raising issues about anti-social behaviour and I was able to work with them and the City of London Police and the Corporation to really nip many of these issues in the bud.
Freddie Downing, Conservative candidate for City and East, replied,
"Wherever I go in City & East, people always tell me they’re worried about rising levels of crime and anti-social behaviour. Nickie and I want to hear your priorities for policing and crime in the area. So please take a few moments to fill in the survey so Nickie and I can use the responses to work with the police and residents to make the City a safer place to live."
If you haven’t already had your say in Nickie's crime and anti-social behaviour survey for the City, please do so. Nickie will shortly be finalising her Plan to Make the City Safer and your views will shape it.
