As part of Nickie Aiken's regular catch-up with local Residents' Associations, she was delighted to meet with the Grosvenor & Regency Residents' Association for a walkabout to discuss the local issues that matter to them.
Nickie was also joined by local councillor for Vincent Square Ward, Selina Short. Issues raised included poor lighting, CCTV and concerns over e-bike and e-scooter-related fires in communal areas that we have seen across the country.
The London Fire Brigade has produced guidance on how to best mitigate any risks and I highly encourage everyone, even if you don't own an e-scooter or e-bike, to take a look to ensure your building is protected. Take a look at their guidance here.
Nickie is always keen to meet with local amenity societies, community groups and residents’ associations. If you’re involved with a group, Nickie would be delighted to come along and meet your members; please get in touch.
