Member of Parliament for the Cities of London & Westminster, Nickie Aiken, has continued to hear from local people about their experiences of the 24 bus.
It's so important the 24 bus is reliable, and Nickie is working with local people to hold the Mayor of London to account. Respond to Nickie's survey here.
Nickie explained,
"Together, we saved the 24 bus from being cut by Sadiq Khan. But since we saved it, I've heard from more and more of you about the waiting times in Pimlico for the next 24, sometimes 24, 25 minutes. And too many terminate without any information at Victoria, meaning you have to walk home or wait for the next bus, which could be another 20 minutes. Many people can't walk home from Victoria.
"So I wrote to Seb Dance, the Deputy Mayor for Transport outlining the issues. He came back acknowledging there had been problems, but promised that these had been resolved. But I'm still hearing from you about the problems. I was on the 24 bus on Sunday night and it terminated at Victoria. So please work with me again to send a message to the Mayor that the 24 is not working the way it should.
"I've got a survey. I'm collating evidence so I can go back and say, this is what I'm being told, this is people's experience, please improve the 24 bus service. So please do fill in my survey.
