Join us on a guided tour of the national Conservative Party Archive in Oxford. Followed by lunch and a tour of the Bodleian's historic libraries.
The national Conservative Party Archive preserves materials, documents and artifacts from the parliamentary party, voluntary party activists and CCHQ. This amazing collection dates back to 1867 and includes both manuscript, publicity and photographic history. There is plenty of fascinating information on key Conservative personalities over the years. We will receive a guided tour of this collection of treasures from a party archivist. The group will be able to handle documents and suggest in advance, items they would specifically like to view.
This will be followed by a three-course lunch at one of Oxford's premier restaurants. In the afternoon after lunch, we will visit the iconic Divinity School and Duke Humfrey’s Library, where many scenes from the Harry Potter films and numerous period drama's were shot. The visit is now also expanded to cover the legendary Convocation House and Chancellor’s Court.
In the event this visit is over-subscribed, priority will be given to those who have not attended before.
The location will be shared with guests 24 hours beforehand. If you have any questions, please get in touch.
