Cities of London & Westminster MP, Nickie Aiken, remains concerned over proposals to redevelop London Wall West, the former home of the Museum of London.
As someone who used to live in the Barbican, Nickie understands that having a project so close to a residential building could create considerable effects on the local quality of life, not least the possible noise disruption that will ensue.
Nickie is continuing to work with local people living in the Barbican, as well as the Barbican Association and the Barbican Action Quarter, to ensure their views are heard and listened to. Nickie wrote again to the Corporation, reiterating my concerns, and sought assurances that local people are being put at the forefront of the planning process.
