38 new affordable homes in Church Square - just by St James The Less Church - have been completed in Tachbrook Ward this year. Built on the junction of Moreton Street and the Vauxhall Bridge Road the new homes, ranging from three bedroom flats to studios, have been rented to local working people. This is the first new development by the Dolphin Square Foundation, the independent housing charity which was set up to deliver homes for Westminster’s working people. 

Cllr Angela Harvey who was Cabinet Member for Housing at the time the charity was set up said: "This is part of Westminster City Council’s commitment to find opportunities for affordable housing for local working people". Angela was especially pleased that the flats have been well designed with modern facilities, good storage and lower heating costs.
